Will the plastic cards we usually use catch fire?

At present, our domestic plastic cards and password scratch cards are all printed and laminated with PVC materials. Cards similar to bank cards generally refer to plastic cards, VIP cards, VIP cards, etc. made of PVC materials. PVC is a kind of A compound called polyvinyl chloride is a polymer with a random configuration of repeating units. It is a general purpose synthetic resin. According to the specific production methods, PVC can be divided into: general-purpose PVC resin, high-degree of polymerization PVC resin, cross-linked PVC resin. We generally use this to make PVC cards. General-purpose PVC resins are formed by the polymerization of vinyl chloride monomers under the action of initiators; high degree of polymerization PVC resins refer to adding chains to the vinyl chloride monomer polymerization system. Resin polymerized by a growth agent; cross-linked PVC resin is a resin polymerized by adding a cross-linking agent containing diene and polyene to the vinyl chloride monomer polymerization system. The biggest feature of polyvinyl chloride is that it is flame retardant, so it is widely used in fire protection applications. It can be said that the material of our plastic card will not catch fire, and not only will not catch fire but also has a flame retardant effect.
